We have a 4 month mini golden retriever. He has been making very good progress in house/crate training. We have had him for about a week and a half. We are in Minnesota and it just got really cold. Now it is very difficult to get him to pee and especially poop outside. We are all about positive reinforcement and give him treats for going in the right place. Do not scold him for doing wrong. Just a stern "No" and immediatley out the door. Any suggestions? Anyone dealt with this before?
