Hi everyone! Our new pup will be starting puppy school on Saturday and we are soo excited! He is 9 weeks and we've been dying to take him out of the house. I'm just really nervous about illnesses like Parvo. The puppy school instructor has emphasized that all pups should have at least their first vaccination, which we do. But surely a dog needs to be completely vaccinated before socializing with other dogs? Would you risk taking your dog with only one vaccination? And surely if you wait too long to socialize them then you miss an important window of opportunity.
