(impact898@yahoo.com) My new 8 Month old rescued Labrador had a rough beginning. My understanding, she was the only one they saved in the liter. I believe she was mistreated as well. I am still building her trust slowly. She was afraid to leave the living room unless I was getting her to go out , with my other dog, and she kept hiding under furniture off and on for two weeks. She became good friends with my 10 year old Pit Terrier. Goes out every time when the other dog goes. Goes out just with me once in a while after playing. Finally got her sleeping on the bed, house broke, and we play together most of the day. Eating great directly out of her dog dish and taking treats from me. Problem, still hesitates to come out and in. I just ask her if she is ready. I do not force her, just talk nice to her, she eventually gives in and gets lots of loving. Just needs a little more time. SCARED: (Help) Hides when she sees a collar or leash. Will not get in the car. Will not always follow me or come directly when called very loving and playful in the house. Any suggestions appreciated.

My 4 month old Boston Terrier goes berzerk when I try to put the his collar around his neck. Once on he is ok, but does not like anything around his neck. He needs to be exercised but no collar, then no leash and no walk!
suggestions please!
