We will be getting a new puppy. As I work from home, I'm nervous about it becoming too attached to me which could later result in problems like separation anxiety. How do I create boundaries where the dog still feels loved and safe without it becoming too dependent on my presence? ( I'd want to be able to pop out to the shops once it's older without it being a stressful occasion for her to be left alone)
