My Havenese fights me every time he has to go out for a walk. He is 5 now but from 10 weeks to 3.5 years we had an older dog who he would go outside with. When the older dog could no longer do the walks I would put them both in my dog trailer and walk them through the neighborhood. Fast forward to almost 2 years since my older girl died and my Cooper is reluctant to go outside for a walk. I do get him to go across the street to do hiis business by the preserve. But then once done he turns for home. We have a fenced yard he goes to willingly. He loves to ride in the car. But walk the neighborhood. No way. Anyone have any suggestions?
