Picking up dog poo
I'm on a few community social platforms and it seems that every day, somebody is talking about people not picking up their dogs' poo. Sometimes it is in their yard, sometimes it is in the grass next to the street, in the street, or in some public area. There are normally mixed responses from people divided on the subject: those that don't see a need to pick it up and those that are furious (some violently angry) about people not picking it up. I know that it has now become a law in many places in the US and the UK. I understand that it is a problem but I just don't get why it is creates such a hostile response from people. I don't like dog poo in my yard but I would never be confrontational with someone over it.
Is the response so divided where you live? Do people actually commit violent acts against others because of it in your area?
