Needing HELP with what to do with Great Pyrenese that will not stay home! We live on a farm and he has other animals and dogs and cats around, also chickens just down the road about a block! He started out just wanting to be close to the chickens and we let him think it was his job! Did'nt hav a problem for about a year...now he strays miles away from home...thought it was because he wasn't neutered...got him neutered and the dog he goes to see is spayed. Guess that is not the problem! Anyway the people he goes to have a doggie door to their house for their spayed female chow dog and Zack goes right in and makes himself at home, muddy feet and all. These neighbors can't be happy with this and we feel like we should go get him all the time! We got him neutered thinking that would stop the roaming, we then installed a wireless containment system...worked great for 1 day, at dark he disappeared again ..was found back at same place next day! Any ideas as to how to get him to stay inside wireless system...he is at maximum correction level! He tears up chain link pen and we can't fence in whole yard! We are at our wits end!
