I'm planning a trip / vacation to an area that is too far to drive to so I would be flying. I am able to and would like to bring my Husky but I'm nervous about her being on the plane. She's too big to be in the passenger area of the plane so she would have to go into the cargo hold. She is already so high anxiety and I know that she would be terrified during the flight, not just because she is separated from me but because of everything else that goes along with flying. I'm thinking the only way to help would be to medicate her but I don't' know how I feel about that. What do you think? Would it be better to let her play at the dog sitter's house while I'm away? Be anxious on a flight in the cargo hold? Or medicate her so she can rest during the flight?
