Are there any breeds of dogs that you dislike? Are there any breeds that have proven to you that their bad reputation is true? Ex. Difficult to train in general, difficult to house train, destructive, unfriendly, prone to serious health ailments, aggressive, etc… Or do you feel that it is all a matter of training them properly and giving them proper care?

I need to find a breed of dog that would be good to help a person in a wheelchair. It would need to be able to help pick things up if dropped and alert someone in case of a fall. Any suggestions?
