A few weeks ago we rescued a 3 year old cocker spaniel. He sleeps in his room (cage) all night with no problem. We put him in another cage when we go out or when my wife is at work. I travel during the week. Issues: 1. Sometimes he will pee a little in the house, almost as if marking. He has been neutered. 2. When we go out, even for an hour, he pees in his cage and stands in it. We have to give him a bath everytime we come home. We take him out to go "potty" before we leave. Nothing is in his room. We have tried music, TV, Kong with peanut butter.
